Our Story
FARMER WHO BREW THEIR COFFEE
The late Wayan Soplo established this coffee plantation in 1964. Then it was passed on to the second generation. That generation had not thought about how this coffee plantation could make money, they just thought how they could work passionately to care for and maintain this coffee plantation. Hence, at that time, the coffee plantation was still green and the management was still paying attention to nature and its sustainability.
Finally, the coffee plantation was passed on to the third generation, where many coffee trees were cut down and replaced by orange trees. They made some changes because they thought orange trees would make money faster than coffee. This generation also used many chemicals substance for the growth of the trees and to bear fruit quickly. This definitely could damage the soil.
